Hi! I'm Rocky if you haven't already figured that part out yet. A freelance writer and website designer sharing her voice and ideas with the world.
My passion for writing started back in 2023 when I re-discovered my love for reading and now, I have towers of books inside my home. I always loved writing projects in school, and for a small window of time, I was writing fanfiction about one of my favorite bands. Not my proudest work, but looking back on it, is always a good chuckle. Fast forward to now, I'm working on writing my own fiction novel while pursuing my website design goals as well.
I currently host my own book club called "Foreshadow Finders Book Club". We meet up monthly and chat about books while enjoying the day with cheerful company. I also run my own blog about all things books and writing. Featured posts include book reviews, new releases, current reads, writing updates, and more. I use the software Canva to create a variety of graphics. It's a creativity blast I'll never get bored of.
My aspirations include becoming a published fiction author one day, and to continue growing my freelancing career. I have many ideas to share, and I always do my best to remember: "When you believe in yourself, it all comes together."

Credentials
I took the creative leap one day to venture down the poetry path and signed up for an online workshop class for poetry writing. It's taught on Coursera and approved by CALARTS. Includes educational videos, writing prompts, tests, vocabulary, and writing sections with peer feedback and grading as well. Passing with a 98.43, I'm thrilled to have obtained new poetic knowledge and writing strategies to further increase my growing writing knowledge.
